If tales are to be believed, Lhamo was intercepted as the reincarnation of the 13th Dalai Lama, Thubten Gyatso, by a plethora of omens and spiritual indicators. Dalai Lamas, the spiritual leaders of Tibetan Buddhism and followers of the Bodhisattva tradition, are claimed to devote their entire lives to the advancement of humanity.
